Real analysis is a branch of applied mathematics concerning mathematical approach that is usually used in mathematics, engineering, physics and computer science.
The book is divided in five chapters. Chapter 1 covers real number system which includes basic properties of real number system as well as binary expansion, ternary expansion and cantor ternary. Chapter 2 deals the introduction and properties of open and closed sets, limit points, finite and infinite sets and countable sets. Chapter 3 concerns the sequences, basic properties and some important definition and theorems. Chapter 4 covers the basic terminology of sequence and series, Cauchy's fundamental test for series, Alternating series geometric series, p-series test, ratio test etc. Chapter 5 we have to study the concept of convergence of series of functions, test for absolute convergent, power series, uniform convergence and properties of uniformly convergent series, Weierstra's M-test and binomial , exponential and logarithmic series.
